Barbara Karkut
Barbara Karkut is a self-taught watercolor artist. Barbara’s artwork reflects her imagination in creating whimsical beings. Angels with attitude, fantasy fish and funny, fanciful mermaids are just a few examples of her work. “If my work brings a smile to your face, then I’ve achieved my goal!” Barbara is a member of the Waterway Art Association and the Associated Artists of Southport. Her artwork can be found at Collectors Corner and Franklin Square Gallery in Southport, N.C. and at Sette Restaurant in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
