Sasee Hat and Kitty

I spent this month with Kitty Vickery. I made so many new friends and had loads of fun!
I attracted some of Kitty’s high-ranking friends at the Hollings Cancer Center. L-R: Sen. Fritz Hollings; Kitty; Dr. Ray Greenberg, president of the Medical University of South Carolina; Patty Shortt; Dr. Jim Edwards, former S.C. governor and MUSC president emeritus; and Julia Wilson. Patty and Julia are new board members.
After a fun month with Donna Skeen, I am transferred to the blonde locks of Kitty Vickery at Kitty’s Bible Study Group. L-R: Julia Wilson, Acton Beard, Kris Southard, Nan Johnston, Donna, Kitty.
Kitty brought me to a tribute for Buck Limehouse, the new and first S.C. Secretary of Transportation, where I got to meet Vida Miller, left, our S.C. State Representative, and Iris Campbell, former First Lady of S.C.
DeBordieu Colony has a Birthday Luncheon every month. Look at the big turn-out at their Beach Club!
The Low Country Lunch Bunch, founded by Kitty 15 years ago, met in late August at the Caledonia Restaurant.
I know I’m not a very good golf hat, but I loved meeting members of the DeBordieu Ladies Golf Association, assembled here in the front of the Clubhouse.
Kitty poses at a meeting of the Litchfield Ballet Foundation Board. In the upper right corner are the LBF founders, Tom Fox and Ilka Doubek.
Leaving the Vickery home for a biking spin with Kitty and her husband, George.
