Letter from the Editor: Forgiveness

March 2008 Cover Quote

Our “Forgiveness” issue of Sasee inspired many writers from around the country, and even the world, to submit essays describing an experience they’ve had with forgiving, or being forgiven. All of them were good; many were excellent and required a second reading before I could move on. The theme running through all of them, even the lighthearted, funny ones, was that no one has ever regretted forgiving. Each and every person who wrote about their experience was so glad they made the effort, reached out and let go. I hope you enjoy reading these essays as much I as did.

I had the opportunity to meet an amazing woman this month, Cheryl Bauerle. Cheryl is the president of Autism Advocate Foundation in Horry County and the subject of our “Sasee Gets Candid” feature. Since the diagnosis of her daughter, Sommer, Cheryl has devoted her life to making it possible for people with Autism to achieve their goals and dreams.

As always, thank you for reading Sasee. You can contact me at editor@sasee.com, or 1357 21st Ave. N, Ste. 102, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Leslie
