Letter from the Editor: Courage
By Leslie Moore

As the editor of Sasee, I have had the opportunity to interview quite a few fascinating women (and a couple of men). They have allowed me to tell their stories and opened up the doors of their lives to all of our readers. Some of their stories have been extremely painful, but not one of these remarkable women has let difficult circumstances stand in the way of having a happy, successful life. This, to me, is what real courage is all about. If you know a woman whose story would inspire us, I would love to hear about her.
I hope you enjoy reading this issue as much as we enjoyed putting it together for you. Don’t miss reading about Susan Armstrong in our “Southern Snaps” feature. And, this month, we highlight a delightful man, Vernie Dove, who loves reading Sasee!
Until next month,
Leslie
It takes courage to grow up and turn out to be who you really are.
