Yury Piskun is a member of the Artist Union of Belarus, the home of Mark Chagall. Yury received his P. D. from the State Academy of Arts in 1980, and in 1986 he completed studies at the Belorussian Academy of Sciences, specializing in old Belorussian painting history. He is a member of the International Guild of Painters and has participated in more than 30 collective and personal exhibitions in Italy, Germany, Sweden, Spain and Russia.
Major attention is paid by this artist to the portrait genre. His intention is to reveal the psychological depth, intellectual richness and the purity of the soul of each individual.
