Letter from the Editor: A Moment of Zen
By Leslie Moore

Throughout my life I have had strong, confident women around me – my mother, whose unconditional love I could always count on, my kind and gentle mother-in-law, Faye, whose faith both inspires and humbles me, my friends Marcia and Gail, who walked with me through my dark valley of despair after my husband died, (Gail even walked with me through the pouring rain when I just had to get out of the house) and many other special women that have helped me to become the person I am today. I am overwhelmingly grateful to the women who have laughed, cried, shared hugs and, most importantly, love with me during good times and bad.
Sasee, together with WMBF News and Cinzia The Spa at North Beach Plantation, will honor these “Women of Character” throughout 2009. Read about them each month in our Sasee Gets Candid feature, and please let us know about the special woman in your life. Submit your essay, of 500 words or less, to editor@sasee.com, or log onto www.sasee.com or www.wmbfnews.com and click the “Women of Character” link. For those who would prefer to use regular mail, send your submissions to: 1357 21st Ave. N. Ste 102, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
Peace is always beautiful.
