Your Moment of Zen
During these trying times, everyone is being cautious with their money. However, it is still possible to find your Moment of Zen, without spending tons of money. Sasee’s Nicole Mann came up with a few great ways to relax and find tranquility without breaking the bank.
In our area, there are so many free or inexpensive ways to relax and enjoy the simpler things in life. For example, we have the ocean practically minutes from our doorsteps. Enjoy a nice long walk on the beach or even pack a picnic lunch for the afternoon. Sometimes it’s nice just to sit and listen to the waves crash. How relaxing!
Or, take a jog down the exercise trail. While walking or jogging you can stop at each station and get a great full body workout. You can also find yoga classes for affordable prices.
At home, create your own personal spa experience. All you need is some bubble bath, soft music or a great book and your favorite glass of wine. Or, make your shower a spa with shower steamers. You simply start your shower and let the water run on the bottom of the shower or tub and then rub the shower steamers against the “The Sweet Spot” where the water hits the floor. They release wonderful, aromatic vapors and oils that will completely relax you. Many selections are available at Studio 77.
No matter what relaxes you, be sure to take time out for yourself to unwind and de-stress.
