Letter from the Editor: Save the Best for Last

I love giving and receiving books, maybe because I’m a writer, but I think I just enjoy the feel of books and the anticipation of the adventure within the unread pages. When my children were little, I spent hours browsing the childrens’ aisles of bookstores, trying to choose just the right ones for each of them. Santa brought the toys, but the books always came from Mama.

As editor of Sasee, I am privileged to read many wonderful essays each month, written by some incredibly talented writers. So, when one of “our” writers publishes a book, it is a cause for celebration. One of Sasee’s very first contributors, Ann Ipock, has just published her third book, Life is Short, I Wish I Was Taller. This shoe-loving, southern charmer has been one of our favorites for years, and we are all so proud of our friend and her success. In her latest book, Ann continues entertaining us with hilarious and touching stories of her life and loves. You can find your copy in local bookstores or by visiting www.annipock.com.

Happy Holidays!

Life is a big canvas; throw all the paint on it you can.
