Sasee Kids Love Valentine’s Day!

Kids love Valentine’s Day! Make your child or grandchild’s class Valentine’s Day Party special this year with some themed crafts and snacks or just have some fun at home together!

Here are a few cute and simple ideas to get you started:

Valentine’s Popcorn

Make a batch and split into baggies – you could send these to school for your children’s classmates.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

  • 12 ounces white chocolate
  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Sprinkles
  • Conversation hearts (optional)

Heat chocolate in the microwave or a double boiler until melted.

Place the popcorn in a large bowl, and pour the melted chocolate over it. Then use a spoon to toss the popcorn gently until it is evenly coated with the chocolate. Spread the popcorn out evenly on a baking sheet covered with parchment, wax paper or aluminum foil. Sprinkle evenly with the salt, then sprinkle with as many sprinkles and conversation hearts as you would like.

I Dig You

Pick up sand shovels, Valentine-colored M & Ms (or your favorite candy) cellophane baggies and ties. Super easy to assemble and the kids will love helping you put these together.

Valentine’s Crayons

You will need crayons (old, broken ones are great) and heart shaped silicon molds

Break crayons into molds
Heat oven to 230 degrees
Bake for 15 minutes and add your personal touch.
