Green Your Community Event

Myrtle Beach Salon, Baddhare has announced the 1st Green Your Community event for April 27 (9a to 4p) & 28 (2 to 4p), 2024. In honor of Earth Month and partnering with Green Circle Salons, Baddhare Salon will lead the way in creating a more sustainable salon and community.
Salons in North America average 877 pounds of waste every minute, much of which ends up in landfills. Green Circle Salons work with salons, spas, barber shops and independent artists to divert that waste from landfills, certify salons as Carbon Neutral and create new and innovative products with the waste.
Baddhare Salon in Myrtle Beach leads the way in sustainable operations and environmentally safe products. 84% of salon clients care about where salon waste goes and together with Green Circle Salons, Baddehare Salon is making a difference. The Green Your Community event, taking place at BADDHARE SALON, 4377 North Kings Highway, Unit 103 in Myrtle Beach is a free educational event for everyone in the Myrtle Beach and surrounding communities and the local Salon community. Baddhare is asking salons, beauty professionals, and the community to bring any hair related items to be recycled and diverted from local landfills. Anyone who participates will receive 20% off their Baddhare retail purchase, and those who are interested in joining the Green Circle Salons movement will receive free enrollment.
The first Baddhare Beach Cleanup of the year will also take place following the Saturday event at 4:30pm. All are welcome to join the Baddhare Salon crew at the 48th Ave N. Beach access in Myrtle Beach to help keep our beaches clean. These efforts contribute to the adopt a beach program through MyCoast.org. Baddhare Salon is one of 22 businesses in the Myrtle Beach area that have adopted a portion of the Grand Strand through MyCoast.org.
