Low Country Herb Society Meeting
April 9 @ 9:15 am – 10:15 am
The Low Country Herb Society meets on April 9th at 9:15 a.m. at the Waccamaw Library in Pawleys Island.
The guest speaker will be Mr. Tom Francis, owner of Bees-by-the-Sea and Beekeeper at Brookgreen Gardens. His topic is “How Beekeepers Help Honeybees Survive.”
Membership to the Low Country Herb Society is open to all and no experience is necessary. A “meet and greet” social time to welcome guests and members is held prior to the meeting with refreshments provided by LCHS members. Every regular meeting includes a guest speaker and information on the Herb of the Month. Throughout the year an annual picnic is held, a holiday luncheon, fundraisers for a scholarship fund and a field trip.
LCHS meets from September through May, and the annual dues are $25 with a quarterly newsletter included. For more information, look for us on Facebook or contact us at sclchsnews@gmail.com.
