Two great loves in Page Nash\u2019s life have been her Rose Arbor Fabrics business for the last 30-plus years and her fur babies \u2013 and sometimes the two even intertwine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She shares that Tootie, a cat Nash nursed back to good health and went on to live for 19 years before she passed onto the Rainbow Bridge, once made an appearance at Rose Arbor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen I got her, she was six ounces,\u201d says Nash, \u201cso we brought her up to Rose Arbor and bottle-fed her and kept her up here for months and months. \u2026 She and I have been through a lot together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Nash and her husband are the proud owners of two cats, Pee Wee and Batesie, whom she also had a hand in greatly improving their health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese cats are always special,\u201d she says, \u201cand they always seem to need help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nash also loves her dog, a 6-year-old Brittany Spaniel named Captain that the couple adopted from Gaffney, South Carolina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is our second Brittany Spaniel because they\u2019re just such loving dogs,\u201d she says. \u201cCaptain and I walk four miles every morning in the neighborhood.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nash says that, although Captain\u2019s breed are natural hunters, he is instead a fishing dog, which seems natural here along the coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wish you could see him!\u201d she says with a laugh. \u201cHe goes on the boat with us to The Point and digs for ghost crabs, and people love watching him. He looks like he\u2019s going to dig all the way to China, with his tiny butt up there and his tail wagging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe also loves to ride in the truck with Skeeter, his dad,\u201d she continues. \u201cHe loves to do anything with Skeeter \u2013 that\u2019s his best friend. I\u2019m just the one who feeds him and walks him every morning.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Nash says she doesn\u2019t have the time to volunteer because she still works five days a week at Rose Arbor Fabrics, she does make sure to donate to All for Paws, a nonprofit pet adoption center in Pawleys Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nash took over ownership of the Myrtle Beach Rose Arbor location in 1991 from Rose Heath, who originally opened the store in 1980. She opened the store\u2019s sister location in Pawleys Island in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEvery day is different. \u2026 Every day,\u201d she says. \u201cYou never know who is going to come through the front door, what is going to sell, what jobs are going to come up, which makes it fun!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both stores have an inventory of more than just fabrics; they also sell furniture and home accessories, like chairs, sofas, tables, and dressers. Accessory offerings are lighting, wall art, bedding, pillows, home d\u00e9cor, and rugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabric options include upholstery for indoor and outdoor furniture (Bella Dura, Belle Maison, Covington, Cowtan and Tout, Crypton, and more), drapery (Covington, Pindler, Norbar, Stroheim, Fabricut, and many more), interior fabrics for upholstery to recover club chairs, swivel gliders, dining room chairs or couches, indoor and outdoor fabrics to withstand sun, wind and beach living, durable and stain-resistant performance fabrics for high-traffic areas in the home, and special order fabrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose Arbor Fabrics also has an experienced interior design team in-house to help customers from Wilmington, North Carolina, to Georgetown, South Carolina, visualize their home spaces with products in the store, and decide what is best for each room (color, main concern or goal, and style).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
