Having a perfect little beach house on the ocean was always a dream of mine. What I got with Palm Royale was so much more. Beach days with my family are some of the best memories of my life, and I wanted this beach home to continue to be a part of memories for others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I first walked through this 1957 beach house in Garden City, all I could see was potential with an incredible view. We became the lucky new owners of this coastal gem in 2024, lovingly passed down by the original family who had called it theirs since it first stood on the ocean. This home survived Hurricane Hugo and underwent a full house renovation, which included the addition of a second story. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I knew I had challenges and a goal: to keep this home as a rental and make every rental experience special. Restoring the 1957 beach home came with its struggles, and I could not have done it without the guidance and expertise of local trade professionals. This community has so many wonderful people who made this experience successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I kept all the original thick wood paneling for the walls because it gives this home the cozy beach cottage feel. I added special touches, such as 1960s bathing suits, that complement the home’s legacy. I also added framed postcards from the 1960s that were mailed from Murrells Inlet and sent to destinations around the world, along with framed matchboxes from local restaurants from years past. The first set of renters that stayed at the beach house after the renovations have been vacationing at this home since the 1970s, and it holds so many special memories for their family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only will renters enjoy the newly remodeled interior of the home, but the view is also spectacular!  When you are lying in the master bedroom, it feels as though you are lying on the beach. The most incredible part is watching the moon glowing over the ocean at night!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
