However, nothing can spoil our good cheer like an unplanned emergency trip to the veterinary clinic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I recommend that you plan ahead of time by having the information for the closet emergency vet clinic including their phone number, address and hours of operation BEFORE a problem arises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Helpful tips for a Happy Holiday Season:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep the following dangerous items out of your pets reach:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chocolate, sweets and baked goods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leftover table foods including meats, gravies, sauces, and anything that is high in fat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unbaked yeast doughs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trash<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ornaments, ribbons, tinsel, Christmas trees and the tree water, festive flowers (lilies, poinsettias, mistle toe, balsam, pine, cedar, holly)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candles and potpourri<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors can also cause unwanted health and stress concerns in our pets.
