Can you take us back to the beginning…What inspired you to start HypeGirl and what gap did you see for women that needed to be filled?

HypeGirl was born from a simple but powerful realization: women thrive when they are seen, supported, and celebrated. After years of building businesses and navigating both success and self-doubt, we saw a gap in spaces that truly uplift women in authentic, accessible ways. There were plenty of networking events and conferences, but not enough environments where women could show up exactly as they are, feel encouraged, and leave empowered to take bold action.

HypeGirl exists to change that. We create experiences that spark connection, confidence, and community — reminding women that they don’t have to do life or business alone, and that sometimes all it takes is one room, one conversation, and one moment of encouragement to change everything.

You describe HypeGirl as creating “spaces, events, and tables where there’s always room for one more.” What does that look like in real life, and what kinds of events do you host?

For us, “there’s always room for one more” means intentional inclusivity. It looks like welcoming first-time attendees just as warmly as longtime supporters, creating conversations instead of cliques, and designing experiences where every woman feels seen and valued — whether she walks in alone or with friends.

In real life, that comes to life through our signature International Women’s Day Celebration, Supper Clubs, networking mixers, workshops, and community gatherings. Each event blends inspiration with connection — featuring speakers, panels, vendors, and meaningful moments that encourage women to build relationships, share resources, and lift one another up. Our goal is for every woman to leave feeling more confident, more connected, and reminded that she belongs.

You coined the phrase Shift, Spark, Vibe. What does that mean, and how does it show up in the HypeGirl experience?

Shift, Spark, Vibe is the heartbeat of HypeGirl. Shift is about changing mindset — helping women release self-doubt and step into possibility. Spark is that moment of inspiration or connection that ignites action, whether it’s a new idea, collaboration, or renewed confidence. Vibe is the energy of the room — the collective encouragement, joy, and community that reminds women they’re not alone.

You feel it at every HypeGirl event. From powerful speakers and real conversations to laughter, hugs, and shared stories, Shift, Spark, Vibe shows up as an experience that moves women emotionally, motivates them personally, and connects them deeply.

How do you intentionally foster connection and make women feel both welcomed and championed when they walk into a HypeGirl space?

Connection starts the moment a woman walks through the door. We’re intentional about creating warm, welcoming environments — from personal greetings and thoughtful seating to icebreakers that invite real conversation. We design our spaces to feel approachable, not intimidating, and our programming to feel relatable, not exclusive.

But beyond logistics, it’s about culture. At HypeGirl, encouragement is contagious. We model cheering for one another, sharing stories openly, and celebrating wins both big and small. Every woman is met with kindness, seen for who she is, and championed for who she’s becoming. Our goal is for each attendee to leave feeling supported, confident, and connected — like she just found her people.

For women who are hearing about HypeGirl for the first time, what are the different ways they can get involved?

There are so many ways to be part of HypeGirl. Women can attend our events, including our annual International Women’s Day Celebration, join our community gatherings, or simply follow along on social media to stay connected and inspired. Business owners can get involved as sponsors or exhibitors, and volunteers are always welcome to help bring our experiences to life.

No matter how you engage, HypeGirl is about showing up — for yourself and for each other. Whether you come solo, bring a friend, or partner with us, there’s always a seat waiting for you.

What kind of impact do you hope HypeGirl has onwomen and the larger community?

Our hope is that every woman who experiences HypeGirl leaves feeling braver, more confident, and deeply connected — empowered to take the next step in her life, business, or personal growth. On a larger scale, we aim to create ripple effects: women supporting women, collaborations forming, and communities growing stronger through shared encouragement.

When women are uplifted, families, businesses, and neighborhoods thrive. HypeGirl is about sparking that momentum — one woman, one connection, and one room at a time.

Looking ahead, what’s next for HypeGirl, and what would you say to the woman who feels a pull toward this community?

Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue growing HypeGirl through more meaningful events, deeper community connections, and expanded opportunities for women to learn, collaborate, and celebrate one another. Our focus remains on creating spaces where women feel empowered to show up fully and supported to pursue what’s next.

And to the woman who feels that pull — trust it. You don’t have to have it all figured out to belong here. Come as you are. There’s a seat for you, a community ready to cheer you on, and a whole room of women who can’t wait to meet you.

About HypeGirl’s International Women’s Day Celebration

HypeGirl’s annual International Women’s Day Celebration brings together hundreds of women for a powerful day of connection, inspiration, and community.
