The Low Country Herb Society meets on April 9th at 9:15 a.m. at the Waccamaw Library in Pawleys Island.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The guest speaker will be Mr. Tom Francis, owner of Bees-by-the-Sea and Beekeeper at Brookgreen Gardens. His topic is \u201cHow Beekeepers Help Honeybees Survive.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Membership to the Low Country Herb Society is open to all and no experience is necessary. A \u201cmeet and greet\u201d social time to welcome guests and members is held prior to the meeting with refreshments provided by LCHS members. Every regular meeting includes a guest speaker and information on the Herb of the Month. Throughout the year an annual picnic is held, a holiday luncheon, fundraisers for a scholarship fund and a field trip.<\/p>\n
