Cover Artist: Noemi Ibarz

Noemi has been painting all her life. After graduating with a degree in fine arts from the University of Barcelona, she spent her time painting and designing prints for clothes. All her paintings are started without an idea or a sketch. She begins a painting and doesn’t know how it will end. “Intuitive painting,” they call it. She paints primarily with acrylic paint and acrylic markers. Painting helps her get in touch with the part of humanity linked to nature, something she says has been lost. She likes to focus on what is important, staying present and calm as she paints.
