Meet Wally Hash: Sunspace of Myrtle Beach
Forgive the past and look towards a bright future – just keep rollin’ on, that is all we can do!
Wally did not know his birth name was Walter until 4th grade because he always thought he was just “Wally.” He has 7 brothers and sisters who all go by fun names that are not the same names as their birth certificates.
Wally uses his 10 years of experience in the military as an inspiration for himself as a way to stay positive and move forward without hesitation.
Wally’s 2021 New Year goals are to spend more time with his parents and grandkids, to get healthier, and to be the #1 Sunspace dealer.
Wally enjoys being in his store, located in Murrells Inlet, at all times in order to help with customers while displaying his southern hospitality.
Wally and his buddies still love to have a good time while not at work and started what they call the “Wally Uber.” They get a group of friends together, rent a U-Haul and switch off designated drivers. They go out to have dinner and a great time together around the area safely.
Wally took an early retirement from being a robotic operator for trucks and has now lived on the Grand Strand for 15 years.
The biggest lesson Wally learned in 2020 is to never take friends, family, or loved ones for granted.

Wally was a single father for 15 years and recently got married last year after a 6 year courtship.
Wally suffered from a bad car accident this past year and has learned how to work through the hardships of that plus the pandemic, so he is more than ready for 2021.
I’m Wally’s sister Karen I live in Winston-Salem North Carolina 3 years ago I found out I was going blind to a rare eye disorder that there were no cure for I felt very sorry for myself Wally has been like a big brother and dad to me even though I’m the oldest of seven when my son died Wally called me during the funeral in front of everybody was not ashamed to put his arms around my neck and walked up to me and tell me how proud he was in me my son was 23 Wally will be friend anyone he’ll work and do the best for his family friends so if he’ll do that for his friends and family and United States government you know he’ll do a good job at anything he does he was an excellent athlete in school and he is still remembered in Virginia and everywhere you go if you ever see that smile and you ask somebody do you know Wally hash if they do they have nothing but good to say about him my dad was very proud of him just as we all are this isn’t a put on folks he’s the real deal he’s a good friend and a good neighbor and you know what they say as an animal of someone people can love him he brought me two dogs one time they were so mean we couldn’t get them out of the car 15 years later when I still had those two dogs he couldn’t believe how tame they were in fact he’s brought me three of the dogs that I love most I love my brother and when I read about this you never complained to us about his car wreck that he really got his name from a cartoon character called see you later Wally gator and he’s right we all have ridiculous nicknames my nickname was flossy Hall so you see Wally’s not too bad and nickname but he’s right we all thought his name and I’m much older than him much older so Myrtle Beach has one good resident and now he’s married to a wonderful woman and we’re all happy for him I’m just sorry I didn’t get a phone that had an accessibility feature on it earlier so that I can make this comment a whole lot sooner and I have to count on the accessibility feature and he’s a microphone so I hope it all sounds all right because I can’t see to read it back God bless everyone in South Carolina
